A small snippet of the doodles I’ve been doing. I drew that ‘hipster kid’ complaining about his ‘hipster jeans’ a few days when I was really loopy/sleepy from pulling an all nighter.. sooo dumb, but I actually learned a little from it about grey scale flat texturing.. Anyway today I’ve been practicing eyes, drew a whole bunch of them, and really think I’ve improved a lot. Scribbled that rough sketch (chick on top) before calling it a day, but can’t wait to use and flesh out my new skills later. While I’ve only got a basic understanding of drawing eyes this way, I’m FINALLY starting to get the “feel” for it. Before I sorta just fucked around until they looked “right” while I’m now WAY more comfortable drawing eyes.

Hopefully I can get some more work on here later. I’m sorta in this limbo of doing boring art practice (like drawing an absolute shitload of crude eyes/hands/muscles that’s not for public sharing) and comic development for something coming later this year. Not much time to share art with you guys unfortunately. Oh well!
