I thought this was a cute picture so I sketched it up really quick in ballpoint pen in a couple minutes.

When sketching people/figures/etc I'm finding I like to draw in pen. Mainly because when I draw in pencil I tend to stop what I'm doing a lot and erase stuff that irks me. You can't do that in pen so it forces you to just keep drawing. Whole point of sketching or laying out gestures is getting the action and emotion through while ignoring detail work and such. Gotta lay out the scene in just a few minutes time which I think I did ok here.
