I like fan art as much as the rest of us but there's a lot of artists on dA that make amazing original art. Stunning. Great things. Step outside of faving just fandoms and look what else artists have to offer.
I know that I personally have made work that I am more proud of than this. Let it be a jumping point. At the next Doctor Who art that you fav, go look at that persons gallery. Give them a look-see. Humor them. You might be surprised what you find.

so, i get back from working on a still life- what do i do to reward myself??

it's amazing how fast i did this (like, what, an hour?), i commend the Graffti app on Facebook for helping me be painter-ly ^^ DONE ON PHOTOSHOP!
