Edit: OMG I won!! I can't believe it!! I am so, so happy! THANK YOU!This is for =BluC ’s contest. What’s more heroic than showing off your skills and getting ready to kick some butt in a mini-animation? I hope I properly matched this up with the theme. >_<;;
WHEW! Don’t ask how long this took, because it took a VERY long time!
But, I’m happy with the outcome! Each frame was individually drawn, colored and shaded. I used myself and a fake sword for reference.
It’s not perfect, because I’m not a very good animator, but I still worked hard on it, and I would be very happy if I even got 3rd place!

Oh, you definitely should! It does take up a lot of time, which is why I usually start on them in the summer.

Wow, that looks really good! For not being an animator you have a good grasp of movement. Other than the jittery proportions, this is a great start!
