Round 3 was sports, as we had to do a quiz thingie. I got mostly As, so my theme was “Moving towards a more fleshed out personality!” (You are (more or less) satisfied with your art skills, but your OC could use some development. Here is your task: Think about how your OC would keep themselves fit. What sport could they enjoy? Where, when and how? Would they be alone? Create an entry that illustrates how your OC does sport. Show the whole setting: their clothes, their equipment, the place for practice and (if applicable) the characters with whom they do all of this.)

This was something I’ve actuakly wanted to do for a while, but put it on hold for the contest. And lo, here we have it actually done *for* the contest! XD

The sport I chose is martial arts (Not really anything in particular, Jager and his siblings were probably taught fighting moves from more than one style). While he’s not much of a warrior, Jager is still a Soldier Bio-alt. As are his siblings. So he learned to fight alongside them, and often spars them. This time, it’s his brother, Scythe, that he’s teamed up against. Scythe is probably the best fighter of the group, but why would that stop Jager from trying to win?

The outfits their wearing are simple yet durable sparring gear; designed to stand up to those nasty claws Soldiers have. Scythe’s, however, are particularly sharp, so Jager has additional protection with those guards on his arms and legs. The basic outfit comes in quite a few colors. Soldier Teams will usually have their outfits all matching, but since the disbanding of the old Soldier teams, Jager got himself a new set in shades of green (the superior color!). Scythe still uses his original gear in the old team colors (dark blue, black, and gold pads which he isn’t wearing here). Normally they’d be wearing helmets, but they’re not doing headshots this time, so they opted out.

Not much else to say other than there was sine panic as I thought I’d run out of brown but found like three more brown pens so that was a relief. X3

Ps: scythe is supposed to be melanistic, so completely black, but he’s dark grey here because making him solid black would hide details. :/ which sucks.
