Description
First drawing of a new character, first "tradigital" drawing, and first upload on this account.
I'm hoping to have a reference sheet for this character in the near future.

Thank you for your comment and compliments! This character is a girl and not based on any friends, but you are right about the character traits! This was done in the early stages of design, and I have since given her the name 'Roam' and changed the design quite a bit.

First of all I really like the coulors you used 
also even I really like the color scheme of the fox and the pose itself is really great.
I feel like you don't have any problem with his anatomy.
One of the problem I see there are the eyes. They are really well shaded and look good but there is some few problems. and because the eye of any one viewing your piece will be attracted by the eye I think it is important to make sure they are nearly perfect !
First of all I think they are maybe a little bit to big, even if you want to stylize your drawing there it look a little bit to realist for eyes of that size.
I may be wrong on this but I think the right eye is slightly tilted by comparaison with the other one.
But my main concern with your piece would be the shape language. I think your fox design is mean to look cute and agile but because you use a lot of sharp shape it can look like he/she is some kind of fighter. For exemple you really emulate well the fur but because it doesn't seems to flows in one direction I fell like he/she just finished fighting and his/her fur is is like this because of thefight. Maybe if youΒ made the fur flows in one direction because of the wind or if you used more rounded shape and didn't showed the fur everywhere but only where it naturaly flows it would have been better ! In the same way the ear (mostly the right one) look a little bit to spiky.
Also the light source is hard to spot, because of the style you used it is not really important but if you go on a more reallistic path make sure to have a consistent light source. (the glow in the eyes come for the bottom but light seems to come from top left when looking at the legs shading and top right when looking at the cast shadows of the collar)
As a last note, the collar looks a little bit jagged it seem like it didn't receive enough attention, maybe shading it a little bit more would make him fit more with the rest of the fox !
Anyway this will be all for me, even with all I have said I fell like this is a really good piece ! I hope it was usefull to you and it will help your next piece to be even better !

This is done well, with the penmanship and color choice being the main benefactors for this piece. The comparison of the light blue background with the dark orange really highlights the fox well. Another thing about the color choice is that the collar is the only piece of green, drawing you attention to it, even if you don't realize it.
This piece doesn't really need any more analysis, because I mainly can't think of anything else to write about here.Β

Lighting and shadowing are astonishing! Proportions are good too, but maybe the snout is a bit too narrow? Or maybe that's just how your art-style is?
