Description
One image from a chibi Calendar I am making to sell on Deviant Art. The Calendar will feature all 8 of my element goddess' (From my manga) for each month - plus four new goddess who are made for the calendar only. Once complete, the Calendar will be on sale at DA as well as individual prints of each girl which will be up once they've been submitted.This is Rai, goddess of Lightning. Representing the month of: April.
Two down...ten to go, yikes! Here's the second in the Chibi Goddess Calendar, Rai. She was the first one I actually sketched for this thing, but I wanted to colour yellow when I first started. har, har. Anyhows - I love this pose on Rai, it suits her very well, along with that grin (she could be a suuuupah hero! XD).
I plan to put up February's one next, since we're in that month. It'll be interesting, since she's one of the four 'new' (only-for-the-calendar) goddess'.

these are so awesome btw! i shoudl comment more on your other work, i'm sorry, here's a stick beat me. i love how you don't stray from the initial colour you use to represent the character. that way they are bathed in the feeling of the season you are trying to convey. her expression makes me smile and i love her little ears! good job kai
