Finally got around to finishing Rai over the weekend. Never really liked doing the BG, but her cloak was heck-a fun to do.There's been a few minor changes in her design. The fishnets are gone (Glace now has 'em) and they've been replaced with shoulder armor (not sure if I'll keep it silver-metalic or make it more copper) and a few wraps around her hair. Also gave her longer gloves (and she's now the only goddess asides Zuri, thus far, that has her element symbol on part of her outfit). Oh yeah...and a nose piercing! XD
I had to try Wes' lil' thing with adding some darker colours to the orange (though I still kept her outfit pretty bright...dun wanna her going too grundgy in the oranges
).Rai is now the least-popular girl on my journal Poll out of all the goddess....poor girl. ;_;

I love the cape and her hand. Hands are the hardest i find. Either they have huge hands or tiny hands, there's no in between. Maybe that's why i draw weapons instead of people...Anywho, you nailed it!!

fuu, shame to hear that she's the least popular, cuz she's one of my top faves right off. x_o just... she looks so tough and warrior-like! she's HAWT! people don't know what they're MISSING!
your skintones are utter sekz. they're always so even and smooth, and i never understand you make eet happen. XD her face is practically glowing and screaming 'creamy!!1complekshion'. taaah. i also fall head ovar heels when i see her eyes. @_@ they look so relaxed, quipped with super purdy lashes, as usual. i also admire the little strands you've added on the eyebrows. ;3 
[as a final note: i do like the idea silver armor, but copper would be cool too since the rest of her jewelry is golden anyway. it'd be something new to play around with, i suppose! xD]

On the whole, this is a great pic... its a bit mean that shes on the bottom of the poll though... bless her...
I like the added armor and the new gloves are pretty awesome to... I must say though, I did prefer the fish nets... but if your ice goddess now has them then what the heck! She still looks awesome though, XD

And wow! I envy your attention to costume details-- I'm no good at designing clothes and such, and I do love how you inked her hair, then added colour to make it look sleek and sassy. It really looks like she's cooking up a storm! ^^

Great colours, and yeah, I think you should change the shoulder armour to a copper, but you should try it out and see which you like best.

I think she looks awesome. ;D My favorite part is probably the skin tones.. Something about them just glows with all that orange around.. The brown is a great touch too. She looks a lot different than in the first picture you posted of her and the others. I really like her shoulder armor. It sort of adds to the whole lightining attitude.
Vurrah cool. ;3 I think she might be behind in the polls because you haven't really described her as well as the others, and because her outfit speaks less about her personality than Rosa or Glace or Zuri. ;3

Aww, I like her (it was just hard picking between her and th' others; I think it's because of her element and her entire outlook, she looks like one of those, uh, 'women with attitude' to an extreem? I'm not sure

Heh. This is enough to make me a Rai fan. XD Especially just the ATTITUDE that seems to emit from her, despite the overall drama of the picture. Personally, I think you did a wonderful job on the cape and hair--hair seems to be the best thing about almost all your pictures, for some reason--and I'm glad you gave her the shoulderpads. They seem to fit her, and the golden collar with the gem on it seems to match the lightning bolts in the background.
Oh, and the nose piercing. 
Now I CANNOT WAIT for your manga. XD Period. I can't wait to see how your Goddesses interact with each other--including Rai. Is the little quote at the top something she says in it?

Well, Rai's not in the original manga (and neither is Rosa, Glace and Johari) they're just extra characters that I came up wtih for fun - they don't have any involvment in the Solo Flame story as of yet (and probably won't unless I do a sequel).
