One image from a chibi Calendar I am making to sell on Deviant Art. The Calendar will feature all 8 of my element goddess' (From my manga) for each month - plus four new goddess who are made for the calendar only. Once complete, the Calendar will be on sale at DA as well as individual prints of each girl which will be up once they've been submitted.

This is Mangu, goddess of Darkness. Representing the month of: June.

It HAS been a while since the last calendar girl, huh? XD Slowing down as I'm getting towards the end. Technically - Darkness is another that doesn't fit into the element catigory (please don't argue with me about it, okay?) - but at least it's something fitting for one of the two 'Big sisters' (read below for more info on that).

I kinda like this design, actually. :3 Her gloves are sorta meant to me the kind that sit half-way across your palm, not your wrist (think like Riku's in the 1st KH). The cape too...I wanted that to have a softer look, so I blended it a little and I rather like the final look (though be aware, the blending isn't on the print version)!

Want to know a little more about her? here's some facts:
* Known as one of the two 'Big Sisters' of the goddess. Though there's no relation between Zuri and her sisters, or Rosa and hers - just sisters by choice (should point out that it's the other girls' choices - not hers ).
* Moody. Sometimes pretty Emo. Never likes to be around others - at all!
* Her name is one of the Maori words for 'Black'
* She apparently likes to sleep with her spiky arm-cuffs still on...I can't imagine how painful THAT would be. XD
* Despite the sterotypical look - she's not goth.
* Has a mole/beauty spot under her righ eye (other goddess' joke about how it's her 'third eye', as she always seems to know what they're doing, even when she's not watching).
