Description
This was the only coloured piece I did on my holiday. I worked on it a little bit over the weeks when I had the chance, so due to that alone it took longer than most pics I've done just because I never worked on it for very long.Gawd, I still love his little tail. I just noticed the other day that the first chapter Chopper appeared in for the manga, Oda drew him with a tail! I got far too excited over such a silly little detail (that he scrapped anyway, but still, it's there!)

Woah this is AWESOME. Not only is it One Piece fan art(which I'd still call it awesome anyways), you also have the cherry blossom pirate flag in the background and he's making meds the old-fashioned way. The media you used makes it look like it was out of a picture book.

You know, I couldn't disagree with you more.
Traditional Art does not a 'true artist' make, as is the case with photoshop. They are two kinds of media that an artist can choose from.
Photoshop may make some parts of the job easier, but it takes a HUGE amount of real skill with any digital program to pull off something amazing. Please don't put down those who use photoshop. In fact, I find this comment rather insulting. My best friend uses digital programs for colouring and she is very much so a truly talented artist.
Oh, btw, I did use photoshop to fix up some of the colours that didn't scan in right. :<

I'm thinking he felt Chopper's pants were magical enough just resizing like they do, so it would be a bit much to ask them to accommodate a tail. But then again, that's probably over thinking it.
