Based on the fact that alot of people were complaining about a picture in my gallery where Ed lacked a you-know-whatsit (now gone, I was sick of hearing people complain about it). X3 Still, it amused me just HOW many people complained and said it wasn't right that he didn't have a ding-dong and all that jazz...eventually, I drew this....Alex, ~EndofaCentury in this one, because if anyone would want to de-dress Ed, it would be her.
Yes, yes, yes the 'Ken Doll Anatomy' thing is from the movie dogma, but when refering to some male with nothing in the lower region, it's just the ONLY way to put it these days.

Bah, I didn't find that other picture of yours to NEED to have that feature. I think you spread you point with that picture very clearly, and you captured the emotion in that previous picture just fine without showing parts

I remember seeing that pic of Ed you talked about in your description - I meant to comment on it but I wasn't able to get to it in time *sad it's gone now, I liked it* I can't believe so many people made a big freaking deal about the fact he lacked a *ahem* I mean, c'mon, I know it might not be anatomically correct, but a lot of things are like that! And we don't see them bitching elsewhere. I agree with you on what you said there, that the "male form" just isn't as artistically appealing... sorry to those that bitched that not all of us go oogling over ding-dongs. *sigh*

well, they shouldn't complain! there's many reasons artists draw guys like a ken doll, and I completely understand that!

Actually, the manga-ka behind FMA had her wicked way with a joke like that in a later chapter...when Ed comes out of the shower, she wrote beside one pannel 'full chin alchemist' (Chin being a japanese slang word for 'penis') - highly amusing. X3
