Birthday gift for my darling *Wennichelle !!Alt. Title: 'Bebe Elrics can get away with anything'. XP I mean, seriously, how could Trisha ever punish them if they did something bad?
They're both so adorable.(I used real crayon on the wall-crayon doodles. Lookit - that makes it authentic! Well...sorta...)
Usually my comics are drawn on several pages for space, then edited together once scanned in. But since this was a comic I wanted to send to Jen as a full (finished) image, I had to try and make it all fit on a single A4 sheet of paper...and I think it turned out okay in the end. But no crits on it, please - as this is a birthday gift.

Actually, chan can also relate to a boy, depending on how the term is used (generally, younger boys can sometimes be refered to that way). Al did refer to Ed as 'ne-chan' when he was about 5 years old.

Actually, you're thinking of NEE-chan for older/younger sister. NII-chan is an older borther, but is used depending on the situation and relationship. Ed and Al were young when Al was refering to his brother this way (Al was 5, I belive). He started calling his brother 'Nii-san' when he was a few years older. Chan CAN be used on a boy, it's just not often used as much.

I love how Al still manages to retain *some* sort of conscience, relative to Ed--his look of horror in the first scene, and his comment at the end (I laughed so hard--and his expression is so fitting!).
I also love how you've tailored everything to fit the mood, especially the speech-bubbles (making Ed's black at the end was my favorite).
Wonderful, warm and bright colors. Absolutely adorable *everythings*. I really love this piece. Jen is really lucky.
