LMAO I bursted out laughing at the salt shakers! at first i thought it read "Snake! snake!" and thought you were making up your own on sound effects xD so cute. and smart 
you'd think that by the look of Jak's face Dax would realize wtf is going on behind him e_e; open your eyes, Dax! quit acting so smug!
and I agree with Eno about the floppy ears. they're a lotta fun to draw! I miss the floppy ears from the first game's animation too ;;

man i love this! i especially love how you've chosen in these pages to pick out a certain colour that makes the strip more foreboding and draws you in, this time it's the red of the snake and it really helps set the dire situation that daxter is in.
the first three carttony poses are love! and the salt shaker does harken back to the old style cartoons that we all love so much. kinda putting a light note on the threat int he beginning. but as the panels chose to show the fear in jak's eyes the threat to daxter seems more apparent and imminent.
the last panel's gotta be my favourite tho, he's just not meant to be int he jungle is he, i mean he has no clue, he doesn't even use his senses that should be warning him about the dangers of the forest. but his EARS! his damn floppy ears hunny! they are what makes this comic page to me! cause who would possibly try and digest some one that cute??

Yeah, I've been digging making their ears REALLY floppy as of late...like in the original game (their ears bounced SO much as they walked about in the cutscenes! <3) It's a shame that feature wasn't really done as much in the later games. ;_; I miss the floppy ears!

I love the close up on Jak, he cant even warm Dax. Im actually terrified for the little guy here.
I also like how the red of the snake frames the white panels with Jak in them.

Originally, one of the games creators (I think it was Jason Rubin, though I could be mistaken) wanted Jak as a mute, because they had a theory that if the character you played as through the game talked/said stuff you didn't agree with, then the player would want to distance themselves from the character they were playing.
However, after the first game, they got alot of comments from players saying the felt Jak lacked personality, so from the second game onwards, Jak had a voice (which he aquired during his years of torture in the Baron's prision - either the torture or something else bringing along his speach, different fan's theories ect).
