PLEASE NOTE: This piece still requires a few touch-ups and because of that, I didnd't really work that hard on getting a better scan (it's too light). Once I'm done with the touch-ups, I'll re-scan a better version. :3This is a 99% complete piece, now. Some paint touch-ups still need to be done (like the sleeve of her left arm not blending right on the piant job). But other than that and a few other details, most of it is done.
This is what (I hope) will end up being the cover of Issue #3 of Solo Flame, if it'll work out right. First time a character other than Zuri gets some cover-space. Rah! Yay for the water girl.

The whole pic is beautiful, but what I can't stop staring at is her hair. All the waves of blue and black and white...it's almost hypnotic. @_@

Hmmm...I think issue #3 will most likely come out around mid April next year. Seeing as the first two volumes also need to be re-printed now that I work with BlueScar Productions. :3

Omg, that hair looks like it was a nightmare to paint DD: But your skills aren't affected much by that owo Plus the fact she's your own character, lol.
I really think this is very pretty, I especially love all the blue - I am a SUCKER for dark blue tones. The shading and highlights are gorgeous @.@

I hate to sound like a broken record or something, but I adore her hair! It's so gorgeous and flowy, and (especially in this pic) looks just like water (or at least, it has the same kind of 'flowing' look, if that makes sense). Appropriate for the water goddess
I also like her eyes and expression in this pic, she looks so... dignified (or something along those lines). Not to mention such lush eyelashes, beware the fluttery eyelashes of d00m! 
Oh, and I'll send that money for the prints tomorrow, I meant to do it today but I forgot to make it to the post office before the post goes

I can see how perfect this would be for a cover image. The cobblestone artworks of yours have always been some of my favorites.. I love especially when you put the chalk-drawing wings on them. x3

I'm gonna hafta chime with the masses and say that the hair is absolutely gorgeous! one day I'll scrounge up the patience to make something just as detailed xD the masses seem so iconic, but so very bright and believable. I can feel my eyes curving up and around the curves of her locks, almost like a landscape (sounds kinda cheezy, but it's true!). it really does lead your eye along.
you must get tired of people ALWAYS, and sometimes only, commenting on the hair xD but you do render it so well.
the caramel brown of the cobblestone really pops against the blue (warm browns and rich blues... my fav combo of colors!), as do the yellows of her pudgey little stars x3 n one more thing, I love how heavy the weight of the lines are around the contours of the flowers. those could've easily been lost in the corner, but they help frame the pic nicely
