Yeah, another one of those short little comics done simply for the 'cute' factor (I love little bebe Elrics so!)
Not the best of my comics art-wise, but I'm working on alot of stuff at the moment...*passes out from exhaustion*

Q: Where did the umbrella come from?
A: Um...Ed transmuted it? Really, I have no idea. Maybe he was prepared and brought it with him. X3
Q: What's in Ed's mouth?
A: A stalk of wild grass. He is a country-born boy, after all. He's just chewing on it. :3

He must have transmuted the stick of grass/hay into the umbrella; he doesn't have the grass/hay in the frames where he has the umbrella. But I'm reading too much into this.

im in teh country and i dont chew grass... common misconception that comes from the standard TV 'hick' image... but w/e ^.^ its funny, and al has a cute kitten :3

*shrugs* I've lived in the country and rarely chewed grass either - it's just something for the character to do, and it's not really making a sterotype (s'not like Ed's in dungarees with a straw hat and such).
