Don't usually submit photos, but I'm rather fond of this one. Wasn't taken with a zoom or anything, I was standing right in front of her when I snapped it.First time mother, Amy. Her baby (Sir Ed) is coming on a year old now. She will hopefully be breeding with her mate, Ishah, again soon once Sir Ed is old enough to go to another zoo as part of the international breeding program.
She's also a Styan's Red Panda, despite having a very pale face making her seem more like a Western Red Panda.

At Tenerife Las Aquilas park or know better as Jungle Park there are these red pandas too. They're so cute.

Are there markings that tell all the Red Pandas apart? Or their personality?

Markings, size, personality. Obviously, there's also the microchipping for the breeding program too. But with our pandas, we go by the markings, facial features and the colour of their pelt. Amy here, for example, also has one of the lightest pelts. While her mate, Ishah has a very bright red pelt and dominant facial markings.
