After doing Daisy Yellow , I couldn't resist trying it again with one of my other characters. I had so much fun last time.Here's Zuri with the Rose theme for hers. I made them outlines of how I usually draw the roses stylised, and now they seem to look a lot like Mackintosh's rose designs (Or was it his wife that designed the roses? I can't remember. X3)
It was fun trying to put folds into her clothes, since Kowhai had more fabric to work with at a stand-still. Hands still need more work.
NOTE: I know it has photoshop for the colours, but since it was 2 minutes of photoshop and at least 30 mins of inking, I say it's far more traditional than digital.
Media: Mitsubishi Uni Pin Inks +Photoshop Elements 3.0 for the colour gradient.

This is gorgeous! I'd say "especially the..." (face, clothes, body, hair, etc) but it's all so fabulous I can't pick one thing to compliment.

love the inking but there's something about that left hand Kai, it's not sitting very comfortably on her hip. I think to rectify it just show less of the hand like it's cupping more of the hip.
great work though, as usual your composition and design is flawless.

Hands are both awesome and annoying when it comes to art (and feet are just ugly. I don't get people with feet obsessions. Just lookit them! They evolved so weird! X3)

Mixed media does not include traditional and digital. It applies to things such as a mix of paint, marker, pencil ect. This is a DA rule.

I really love the rose designs, they're very different from your style but in a good way. The coloring really fits too. You can tell you put a lot of work into your inking. Thanks for sharing it!

Zuri looks really lovely in your new style! I think her design is adorable to begin with, but here she looks very mature. I can see a lot of improvement with your proportions and hands between this piece and Daisy Yellow. Also, I'm incredibly jealous of your amazing inking. I always make a mess of things using inking pens. The only thing that looks a litte odd to me is the white lines that look like they indicate a knee, which makes her thigh appear too short.

I absolutely love your lineart, it looks near perfect and the inking is amazing as always ^^
Only thing that I think needs a little work is the elbows and the hands. The shoulders also, they look a little uneven in size.
My favourite part is the way you drew her hair and the clothe folds.
The simple background fits so nicely with the foreground, this is a definite fav

Its realy good but to be honest all i saw at first was the title and i thought it was a picture off the movie rose red but its even better.
