Because, you know, there are fractions of the time when Riku smiles...and he has such the most lovely smile.
*insert mass of stupid fangirling here* I just LOVE Riku's look in Kingdom Hearts 2, if I haven't already pointed this out enough.
Most of all his shaggy hair! Oh yes, for I do LOVE the shaggy silver locks.Anyhow, just a WIP. usually, I throw these into scraps, but I wanted to put it up on my main page for a while, since most people don't know about/can't find scraps around here. It'll be moved there once I make progress on this.
And for the record - I'm still debating if his keyblabe+keychain is going to be in this image, or if I'll skip them out (I wanted the keyblade in originally, but the cool stuff...like the wing on the tip, just doesn't fit in/show up behind him).

I agree. The silver locks are a turn-on. *ponders* Anyways, this is a really good sketch. I believe (and this is just my opinion) that the image would look good with or without the key-chain (Ha, get it? Key-chain? *laughs*>.> <.<*clears throat*It was a joke) But, I think(and again, this is only my opinion) That the image is coming out good so far, and with some more work, and possibly some color, it would most certainly be a very good picture indeed...

Yeah, I think I've decided to leave out the keyblade+keychain, although the actual keychain symbol I'm going to use for a continuing pattern in the BG when it comes down to colours. :3

i love his expression. his whole face just rocks. i cant recall ever seeing riku smile, only an evil smirk (havent played KH2).

Well, you'll be treated to some sweet Riku moments if you ever get a chance to play KH2 (and...he did actually smile a few times in the original KH game...very early on in the game mostly. X3 His smiles just aren't big and cheesy like his little Buddy's.
