Personality: Serious, kind, level-headed, hard-working, and proud. She is a good leader, and treats the mons in her herd like they are family. A family she works hard to protect, and takes pride in. She is easily one of the fastest land mons on the ranch, and works hard to keep that distinction. She also helps to train all of the ground couriers on the ranch. She takes her role seriously, and can seem a bit overly-focused at times, but she is kind, and protective of others.

Main role: Leader of "The Wind Runners", the ranch's resident herd. It is made up of most of the hooved mons on the ranch, and includes most of the ranch's ground-based couriers. A few hooved mons are sometimes found in various guard divisions if they are built more for fighting than running. Tyra also helps the ground-based couriers make runs when something is really dire and needs her speed (and is too heavy or delicate to be carried by the air-based couriers, or needs to pass through places inaccessible by air), and more than one courier is needed. But otherwise she is too busy leading the herd to make normal runs. She is also good in the water, which is helpful since the ranch's grasslands are bordered completely on one side by the ranch's lake.
