This reminds me of that one episode in Sonic X, only Amy saved Sonic that time. I like it better here. Shadow does have a heart, but he doesn't want to go too soft... (Though, I think he secretly does.)

This pic shows very well that Shadow doesn't hate Sonic. He's just his rival and even if he doesn't show it often, he actually cares for Sonic. He might never become his friend, he will never be his lover (just my thought, Sonadow fans, I know most of you see this pic as a Sonadow moment. It's OK, I respect your opinion and don't intend to be offensive so keep your hair on) but he'll never be his enemy again. I don't deny he was once his enemy, but not anymore. Now it's just rivalry. And that's how I want it to stay.

I can't remember what made me want to draw this picture. I guess I was thinking Sonic and Shadow in a battle against an enemy, Sonic goes down and Shadow has to save him - something like that.
