oh it's very simple honey :3 I will be happy to explain, Some artist create new character but they're not willing to use it so they leave it for auction. Sometimes it's free, sometimes it costs points or cash, or sometimes to win character you have to paint it :3 And then if you win your category adoptable is for your use, which mean you can use it as yours character :3
