Description
We finally had a little bit of snow on Saturday, hurray! Unfortunately I was too lazy to get up early and drive to some park, but I spent a very nice afternoon in the forest with Yari and my friend EternalOcean . So, only snow-dog for now!_______________________________________________

Ahhhh forest snow dog pictures are my weakness, I just love them so much. This photo is great!
You do a great job with your depth of field/focus. I can never seem to get mine just right. May I ask what aperature you used? Im on the mobile site and cant see the camera/photo details xD

Thank you very much!
I used f/2.8 at 200mm. In combination with a lot of empty space behind my dog it gives a nice, smooth background. For something like that, try as much zoom as you have at the lowest aperature you can and use something like a wooden trail with no close objects behind your photo model.

Ohh thank you for the advice! Ill definitely have to try that out. I think my problem was partially the lens, I was trying to get the same effect from a 55mm xD

No problem! I suppose you mean the 18 - 55mm? Try get your hands on a 50mm 1.8! It's the best lens you can get for the cheapest price. And because of the f/1.8 you can still get photos with a very shallow depth of field even at 50mm.
