I couldn't possibly think of a better title. I'm way too tired.
I've been working on this for three days.. I suppose I've invested more than fifteen hours into it. I'm pretty happy with the outcome, though I had to change several elements from the original sketch, and even throughout the process of painting it.I first sketched it out when listening to the Silent Hill Movie theme, "Promise (Reprise)". It's repetative, but it's beautiful.
I spent a lot of time just experimenting with colour, and what kinds of effects they would create, in combination with the layer blending modes. The original size for this was 3647 x 5010. So this is somewhere around 16% of the original. I swear, I love my new RAM so much! I wouldn't have been able to dream of making it so big with my old RAM. Let alone my old computer!

I can see the labor here..The color and tone quality you got from that huge starting size is amazing, and it really allows for feeling and movement..energy..which is exactly what this piece is trying to provoke.

Hehe, how ironic. The domain name for stonerbunny.net died today. Even though the hosting was supposed to expire in november of 2005, and the domain was supposed to expire march 15th 2006.

This is very good - you're getting a lot better when it comes to proportion and anatamy. Her chest doesn't look like two giant water balloons waiting to burst! And I just love her feet (and the red nail polish - makes me want to paint my toes...).
...Are those spider veins on her thigh?
