When I went hunting for the first time with my uncle, we performed a "sacred ritual" that I then saw (about three years later) in the original Red Dawn movie.
Thinking back on it, I have to say the ritual honestly wasn't that bad. The blood didn't taste too bad, but it was definitely something I remember.
Here's to hunting, and to the rituals of the hunters!

Yeah. I'm not most common hunter, but always enjoy it when it comes down to it. However, I'm a bit of a stickler when it comes to hunting. I'm of the opinion that if you're hunting just for pleasure, you can stick it, but if you're hunting for food (whether or not you have access to food otherwise) or are trying to balance out animal population (such as overabundance of a specific prey, with a shortage of their natural predators) I have no issues.
