You don’t know how hard I found it demolishing the original ‘Khari’ but it had to be done to make this possible.

The Nui Khari is a large feline Rahi, originally native to the Isle of Origin but has now spread further afield. They are actually distantly related to the Muaka, but apart from that there are few similarities.
Nui Khari are usually pretty friendly, especially towards Matoran and Toa. Occasionally a Nui Khari will become emotionally attached to a specific person and consider them it’s ‘friend’. However they are a highly territorial species and will become aggressive to rival Nui Khari, or the species’ natural enemy Nui Jagga, if they enter their territory. Although they do not show this aggression to other creatures, it’s easy for bystanders to get accidently caught up in a fight. This vicious streak can be beneficial, if a Matoran were to become a Khari’s friend they could be assured their land would remain safe and pest free.
The female of the species is larger than the male and are the dominant gender. Females control the territories and regularly patrol their borders. There may be any number of males in a female’s territory who will co exist peacefully. It’s only if another female shows open aggression and intent to steal territory that fights occur. It’s rare to see inter-gender fights take place. Usually since there is no need; the larger, stronger, female would probably win anyway.
Nui Khari have been spotted in several different colourations, but the sapphire ones are still only found on the Isle of Origin.

A Nui Khari became strongly attached to Protau, shortly after his creation, when it saved him and Felios from a Nui Jagga attack. She remained with the group for a long time but had to be left on shore when they left to find the missing catacoumbs.
They met up again afterwards.

If you look back at the original Khari you’ll see that the only thing that hasn’t changed completely is the head. Although it now has ‘Bohrok’ eyes. The rest of the body has been started from scratch.
She now has actual joints in her legs so she can actually move, rather than the original which was almost 100% static. I’ve kept the mask on her back and she now has a tail too.
