Description
I tool a bit of Cronwell coloring with an Albert Bierstadt painting. I think it one of the ones from his fist trip to the west. Dang could those men paint.

I wanted to focus and push myself with using repetition and variety to create unity in my piece. I've never done one on this scale with hair and fringe. I chose cold dead tones and little warmth to create a feeling of that chilling cold wind bite.
