I cried too, but I did think the series had the perfect end because it didnt end perfectly.

Katniss had to have stayed with gale, prim and did not have to be dead ... even so the ending was happy, more or less

I dont think that I would of liked it had it ended perfectly, it would have just been another happily ever after. The main characters in real life dont get to make it, and Susan Collins wanted it to be realistic, plus, gale didnt make any real sacrifices for katniss, and peta had been willing to lay down his life for her again and again.

but prim, it was not necessary, but if he had not died, Katniss had not killed the president coin
