Description
Originally commissioned as short range hyperspace exploration vessels, the Type 81-A Star Explorers were originally brought to Onderon to facilitate exploration and hyperspace route establishment in Onderon’s local region during the first colonization wave.

However, once the initial scouting was completed, many of these small ships found themselves repurposed into heavy fighters and gunships, their powerful reactors and engines providing an excellent platform for weapons easily imported from Hutt space.
