Look at the fur...

Feel that cold she feels...

But then, look at her feet...

Her feet which grips the tiny branches of the tree...

The tiny branches of life...

The wind, that wants to reach her heart and freeze it...

But she turns her head away from it...

She will not let go of life and give up for The Wind...

For The Sparrow has a mission... A mission which must be accomplished in freedom...

She has her freedom and will not lose it, even to The Cruel Freezing Wind...

She knows that freedom is more precious than life itself...

As I read this, I thought of me, this sparrow sounds very much like who I am. I am a free spirit, I roam and come and go as I please. I fight against what is trying to stop me. I branch out and I am one with my surroundings. I apologize for commenting this way, but reading what your photo meant, made me remember me, someone of whom I forgot. Thank you. Your work I have always found beautiful and meaningful. And seeing how your art helped me to remember me, it means more to me today than if may have meant to me yesterday.
