The concept for "a table for two", has been demonstrated in a vast number of ways...
Well, this is one of mine...
Love y'all

Photo taken from the fantastic view of the mighty Bosphorus from Cengelkoy, Istanbul, Turkey...
What you see, is the Bosphorus Bridge, in Istanbul not The Golden Gate

Technical Details:
Taken with a Canon EOS 350D
using the kit lens (18-55mm) with no additional filters.
taken on 18mm,
f number was used as 16 to catch the bridge (background) sharper... Low light conditions forced me to have a long exposure in order to suck enough light inside... (which satisfied my intention to tell about a "period of time" instead of an "instant in time"...)
The ISO Level was kept at 100, a higher ISO (400, probably) could be used in order to create a cleaner color gradient in the sky and on the sea, via eliminating the ISO grain but that was not what I wanted. I wanted to keep that grain in order to create a more dramatic "veil" onto the photo, creating a texture of "romantic loneliness"
No tripod was used, only an empty table... (I wish I had one, though..)
No kind of digital motion blur, smudge etc. was added.
The skeletal sculpture of the photo has not been modified other than crop from the left-hand side.
It is a long exposure photo (exif: 10sec), which means that the objects in motion (the sea, clouds, boats etc.) are blurred, while the one which are still; are sharp.
Modifications and layers made in PS CS2:
onto the background, respectively:
1. Photo Filter: R:172 G:122 B:51 49%, blended onto the background using Reverse Linear "Steel Bar" gradient overlay, 79% Overlay, 90% angle with 130% scale.
2. Hue/Sat: +4 Hue, -75 Desat, onto the Master Colors.
3. Channel Mixer:
Red: 104% Red +8% Green -32% Blue +18% Constant
Green: -6% Red +102% Green -12% Blue +8% Constant
Blue: +10% Red -12% Green +56% Blue +18% Constant
4. Selective Color:
Neutrals: +12% Cyan +4% Magenta 0 Yellow +26% Black (Relative)
That's all...

Thank you...
Yes, they are human size... Maybe that is because of the huge background...

Fabulous shot. Did you induce the blurring or was that motion?

Ooooh... very nice. The juxtaposition of motion blur and crispness really does give this a dream-like quality.
