You know, I dare say I like this *more* than the original poster. I like the heels she's wearing a lot more in this photograph, and there's something *incredibly* erotic about the way they are tilting just the slightest bit towards each other. Delicious. Great work.

You know, I'll never understand the point of going around leaving snotty comments designed to make people feel bad. Maybe it comes from being insecure.
I never claimed this was an original idea. It just came up during a shoot and I thought it would be a fun image to make. I loved "Secretary" and it seems like a lot of other people did too. No harm, no foul.

I could be snotty. That doesn't make your photograph any better, though.
Deviantart can be extremely delusive. Instead of trying to justify yourself to me, I suggest you take a second look at this photo and ponder on ways to improve your photography.
And I reserve the right to dislike it and to openly say so. Please remind yourself of that fact before blaming me. If you can take compliments, you should be able to take criticism, too.

Criticism I can take. I guess my problem was that you didn't offer any. No thoughts on how the picture could be improved... Lighting, camera settings, pose, costume, etc. Nothing.

Seems like you tried back-lighting but it does not work. The huge light explosion in the back is distracting. So are the wrinkles on the background. There is no depth in your image, everything is flat and bland. What makes the original so eye-catching is the perfect symmetry. Yours does not have that either. Overall, it is poorly done.
If all you wanted was a picture of a woman in her underwear bending, then yeah you got your picture. If you wanted something more, you should've tried harder.
