Miss E out in the school bus lot.I've been wanting to shoot there for a long time now... I drive by it on the way to my studio.
Finally found the perfect model for it.

Nothing says school girl like including a school bus. Great idea, I like the other shots too.

I love that there is ambiguity here. This piece is really open to interpretation - and that's always a good thing.
It's not just a fun, titillating pic of a Lolita - though many see it that way, I'm sure. One user wrote, "That would get me to stop... as soon as I walked into another bus." That's not how I see, this, however.
Lolita tells the story of a man overcome by desire. He falls so in love with the girl that he degrades himself completely. But, at the same time, he's a sympathetic character. There's an inherent duality to the character of Humbert. And this photo captures that. Because, on the one hand, you have an attractive girl in a provactive pose. She's sucking on red candy. I mean, it's pretty obvious the feelings this image is supposed to illicit.
But, at the same time, you have her standing in front of a giant "stop" sign. I don't see that sign saying, "stop and take a look", I see it as a warning against falling under the spell of Lolita.
Does any of that make sense?
Great job.

I think this is my favorite of the group. Nice capture. The colors really work well together here.

Great Pose/shot.
I would tweak a couple things though... I think having the bus at more of a 3/4 perspective view would really make this photo a little more dynamic; and I would have to agree with debradicembre about having a little space between the sign and her head.
Also, it'd be cool to have a couple shots where she's not acknowledging the camera. Like a low shot as she climbs up bus-stairs (no contrived poses), and looks over her shoulder into distance (like a friend just yelled her name). Or sitting in the bus looking out the window daydreaming or something... just a few thoughts

very provocative, great shot..only thing to really have made the shot better would have been flashing red lights on the stop sign

Ah, but we wern't supossed to be there at all. I think starting up a bus would have attracted some attention.

Cute...would like a few mm between her forehead and the stop sign for definition, but very cute nonetheless.

I would have liked that as well... This was a spur-of-the moment grab. She was there and I called her name so she'd turn her head... We were on our way back to the studio at this point. It was *so* hot out that day, I didn't want to torture her for too long.

Payow! Yes you did.
I really like the contrast of the bus as the background, it's unexepectedly good.
