At the very least, Hyebin makes for good conversation. She has an endless supply of witty comebacks, most of which could be seen as somewhat insulting. She's also well-read on many topics due to her spending so much of her time reading. Though she may not be an expert, she does know enough to not look like a dumbass. On the other hand, Hyebin can get annoyed very easily due to her cranky nature. She can come across as aggressive and will easily get very argumentative, often times refusing to admit defeat even when she knows she's wrong. Eventually though, she'll apologize, despite her stubbornness.

Hyebin is usually reserved when she's meeting someone for the first time (unless the circumstance calls for otherwise). With most things in life, she is reactive and acts without much thought. She is, however, very appreciative of the things she has, mostly her friends. She almost never expresses these sentiments though. Much to her chagrin, she can be neglectful, either to her own well-being or to the people around her. These instances are typically followed up apologetic sticky notes stuck in obscure places. When it comes to her job, she is extremely imaginative, something that she finds quite useful when writing for pleasure. She does tend to misplace the ideas she writes down, however, due to how unorganized she is.

History
Hyebin's early life was extremely average, all things considered. She went to school, got acceptable grades, and lived her life like a good citizen. The only thing that really stood out to her was the love she held for reading. She found comfort in the books she stole from her parent's collection (even if she didn't understand what the hell was happening in them).

Fast forward to high school and not much had changed. Her flat chest, questionable personality, and passion for literature had all stuck with her. She was, however, hit with the realization that liking the pretty girls in class probably wasn't normal. In a panic, she threw herself into her studies and acted like she was still blissfully unaware of her predicament.

Hyebin was determined to make her college experience better though, one filled with meaningful relationships and personal growth. She quickly backed out of her plan though when she realized how utterly over her head she was, and retreated back to her familiar world of reading and writing. She spent most of her time working and studying, unwilling to leave any time for her to think about how unhappy she probably was. At least she was able to graduate early though. She likes to tell herself that it was worth it.

After graduating, Hyebin bounced around from assignment to assignment, writing essays and articles about things she wasn't sure she really cared about. One particularly lonely day, she submitted some of personal works to a studio that was hiring, unsure of what exactly she was hoping for. A few weeks later she received a response, informing her that she had a spot on the crew for a new drama that was in the works. She promptly started crying.

Her time with the studio was brief but meaningful. By far the most important development of her work was meeting a slightly unbearable actor named Song, Iseul. In a cruel twist of fate, the two became friends, and in an even crueler twist, they became best friends. Hyebin spent another half year jumping around before Iseul brought up the topic of moving apartments. She quickly shoved her way into becoming his roommate (since rent was cheaper that way) and the two moved down to Seoltang Village to start up a fresh new chapter.

Her favorite cat. Would frequently go to Iseul's apartment when they didn't live together just to see his cat. Talks to him about her problems and lies down on the floor with him.
