A commission on VHR for a player of her Quarter Horse coloured "Music of the Night". Went for a bit of a different colouring style on this one, and I'm pretty darn happy with it. XDReference photo by sychoblustock

lol yeah thats always the catch to such things, I have a hard time getting sorrels/chesnuts the right color, I'm sure yours will turn out regardless.

I've tried to follow your tutorial on how to color that good, and I've failed every time.

lol Well, it takes a lot of practice. Trust me, I didn't learn how to do it overnight. It took about a year of looking very closely at photos and real horses to figure out how to shade, and even after getting a basic idea of what went where, getting it to look good took even longer XD
