Description Switching gears a little to a more lighthearted subject; this time we introduce Ms. Space Bee (I can't recall her name atm, if my life depended on it... I'll update it once I check in with Jup)
Going back to the 'Pinup' series, rather than a more complex pic, I went for something a little simpler to ease me into the subject - a pinup with the obligatory 'extra sauce'.

What's not to love here. I do hope this ticks all the checklist boxes, eh ?
A bit of a tribute to the old '70 ish space girl trope *pew pew*

Cheers, ya gits and have a good one on me.

Ms. Space Bee is companion to Jup (jupiterpaladin.deviantart)

Wow, that color mix is really eye-catching. ^^ The transparency and shading and how the colors reflect from each other is beautifully done. How the balloon squishes around her got me staring for a while xD

All in all a fantastic pic ^^

Just hope she won't forget about her stinger, that would ruin the superb image.

Gorgeous! Love that space suit! Would also love to see a non-anthropomorphic version, but this is so unique! I love it!

Wow, an interesting blend of the sci fi and insectoid parts.

Well done on the shininess too! =3

Thankies much, master Loner ~

I was really inspired by something I saw in one of the latest ImagineFX (really good magazine for fellow artists) masters sketch collection. The bee/insectoid aspect were straightforward enough to add.

Aha ~ well, balloon/bubble and suit textures/gloss is one of my favorite things to attempt (and hopefully get spot on one day).
Being a fellow spherical latex loving lurker myself - I just adore how the gleams, curves and 'squishiness/rotundness' all plays together beautifully.

I think I have heard of that magazine.

A simple yet complicated feat for sure.

Indeed though, and for me I like to combine that into the breast of feminine curves. But I am just a weird air headed Loner that way.

I like how the balloon pops(no pun intended) with that pink color

My gratitude ~ (and pun fully accepted, anyway)
The pink was surprisingly unplanned. The original was just a plain yellow (like the rest of the pic) - but turned out really flat. Glad to see the swap to the pink helped to sell the pic.
I had wanted to do a similar pink balloon for the black and white version - but that one turned out too out of place; hence the choice to keep it a full B/W. Hopefully a good balance.
Strangely enough, I seem to find that pink as a very common 'go to' color nowadays to help something stand out

She had better be careful with her stinger otherwise she is going to lose her seat!
