This is a lovely, dynamic pose. Nice color to the shirt, but best I like her smile and how the mittens frame her face. Hope there's more to come!

Do you use them with the flash? I use mine with just the modelling lamps, and I crank up the ISO.

No flash! I try not to use it. So far, the soft boxes are all that I have for actual studio equipment. My first time using them was with Ruby yesterday. So far so good. It's my best set yet.
My ISO was higher compared to what I usually have it at. The one you saw on F.B. (also on here now) was at 1600 I believe?

Cool. I'd usually shoot at 2000 with my D3.
Why are you using a D3000? You really need to upgrade! Go full frame. I'm thinking of going with the D600, and you'd probably do great with that one too.

I'm planing on upgrading within the next few months.(Hopefully lol) So, I'm ok with the D3000 for now. It's just going to make me work that much harder. Which I really don't mind.
