I've been wanting to do this for awhile.

Lilo as an experiment! Weird, maybe, but it's an interesting idea and I think she looks cute ^_^

I know other people have done this, but this is my version

Not only would this make the LiloxStitch pairing less weird, but it would also (probably) make Lilo herself more likeable.

Despite her coloring, I think she'd be a water-type experiment, due to her surfing and love of the ocean. That's why she has a fish/whale tail.

I'm actually creating a little story around this, but there's a 90% chance I'll never-ever-ever-YEVER write it.

Story idea:

Basically, I'd set it after the L&S series but before the anime. The Japanese version--not the english dub. Why? Because in the english dub, the series states Stitch left Hawaii because Lilo got a boyfriend. That doesn't happen in the original version, nor is Lilo even mentioned, as it's supposed to be an alternate universe. However....what if it was canon? What if there was another reason for Stitch to leave Hawaii?
What I'm thinking is that while Stitch is out one day, being all lovey-dovey with Angel, Lilo is bored and asks Jumba if she can help around his laboratory. It's dangerous, and Jumba knows this, but he can't stand to see Lilo upset, so he says yes. Long story short, something goes wrong and there's a chemical explosion. When the smoke clears, Jumba is injured (but not terribly) and Lilo is nowhere to be found. Nani, Stitch and Angel come rushing home, and after a desparate search, they are forced to resign to the fact that Lilo is dead....
....furious at Jumba, Nani loses it, blaming everything on the aliens and kicking Jumba, Pleakly, Stitch and Angel out of the house forever. This is why they move to Japan.

But Lilo ISN'T dead. She survived the explosion, (haven't figured out why she wasn't found yet) but now, she's an experiment. And worse, she can't remember anything, or even who she is.
For awhile, she wanders around on her own, until Gantu and 627 stumble upon her. They recognize that she's an experiment, but can't identify her, so they assume she's a new one that Jumba created on Earth, and take her back to the ship. As she can't remember a thing, Lilo (called '628' by Gantu) helps him and 627 go after other experiments. She becomes friends with both Reuben and 627, who was given an advanced language program by 625, who got off his lazy butt and used his intelect because he was tired of listening to the word 'evil' all day.
But Lilo is still bothered by the fact she can't remember anything about her life--not even her name--and tries to track down bits and pieces of her past life. She has flashes of memories as time goes on, but they don't make a lot of sense, because she doesn't remember that she used to be human.

The only real good out of this, is that she and 627 grow closer as time goes on....

Stitch and the others haven't forgotten about Lilo, but as they feel guilty and are still pained about her death, they don't mention anything to Yuna or their new friends in Japan.

However, Stitch and Lilo will meet again someday....
....I just have to figure out how and why first.

And if and when she can/agrees to turn back into a human.

So that's my idea. Again, I like it, but doubt I'll do anything with it.
