Description
Being the most-produced tank of the imperial forces during the second great war against the Khanate, the KPz-IV Wiesel spawned a lot of variants to support their combat-oriented brethren.
Three are depicted here, arguably the most important ones.
On top we have the Brückenleger (Bridge Layer) Wiesel. The turret was replaced by bridge-laying gear, able to span 20 meters of rivers or ravines. This supported most imperial tanks except the various super-heavy designs, for which a special vehicle was created.
The second is the Bergewiesel, a recovery tank able to replace engines in the field or towing damaged tanks back to friendly lines, saving many damaged combat vehicles that would otherwise be abandoned. The main crane is located in a small, armored turret armed with a 20mm cannon to allow the vehicle to defend itself when pressed.
The third is an armored engineering vehicle, armed with a 150mm explosive charge launcher, a 20mm cannon and a mineplow in it's rear (forcing it to go backwards to sweep mines).
