Aww, thank you! . I had a blast working with those. In was worried, that unrealistic/oc colours won't work properly with realistic style... but it turned really nicely in my opinion.

Thank you! And sure. For the simple shading, check Nightrizer shading tutorial - my way was based on it.
For painterly, it would be hard to desrcibe in short, as it has a lot of layers and a lot of small deetails. If I'll figure out how to create similar effect on less layers, I'll try to put tutorial.

I have a soft spot for soft shading too... but the cell-shading ones have something "catching" in them too. In short, I've enjoyed working with all 4 versions.
