Reddish eyes disappeared behind her eyelids. She couldn't watch them any longer. Why he was so special? Why she was treated like the air? She was still his daughter...That little brat. It's his fault... If he hadn't been born... maybe then? Maybe he would start consider her as his daughter? Not only "an accident"?
- Don't tell me, you're thinking about this again, kid.
Kusaini had shuddered surprised and turned her head only to see Scar.
- What if?
Brownish male rolled eyes and snarled.
- It doesn't make any sense. He won't change and you know this. Especially now, with this little, yellow rat. Focus on your hunt party or anything else you're doing now. You'll need this when he'll start to kick out some pride members. You know the reason, why you'd be first.
Single tear started to run down on her cheek.

He's lying. Still, Kusaini is so pushed away from her pride and father, that she believes everything that Scar says. Even if there's no evidences behind it.

Kusaini is daughter of Mufasa and lioness which doesn't belong to the pride. She's a year older than Simba. As she has a royal blood in her, she was taken away from her mother in a very young age. What is more, Mufasa was in this time already with Sarabi, so daughter wasn't insteresting for him.
Scar felt that she could be useful with time, so he did his best to have good relations with her. And he did good job there...

She's pretty interesting character. I hope to have little bit more time to make some pictures connected with her story.

In fact, he feels some compassion towards her. In Scar's opinion, she's the only one lion in pride, which is not annoying. Even though he doesn't have any higher feelings for her, he'll make everything to make sure that Kusaini see him in a opposite way.
Other fact, about year after Mufasa's death and Simba's disappearance, their daughter (Roho) comes to the world. And that's the other part of the story, which I would like to show in the future.
To be short - Scar's feelings towards Kusaini are a little bit complicated due to his own story and the fact, what kind of character Kusaini is. His mind is clear though - he want to use her against her own father.

I think that she will. Mufasa totally messed up, when it goes to his daughter.
Scar is the only one lion in the Pridelands, to whom she can talk and can spend time with.

Geez in that pride is he the only choice? Dang it. Being the "bastard child" of the king must be a real curse.

Scar is using her loneliness against her and the rest of the pride.
There were some stricted rules about bastards in the time, when she was born - she couldn't call Mufasa "father", she couldn't stay with her mother as she had the royal blood in her. And the fact that Mufasa was at this time with Sarabi (leader of hunting party) situated the problem in even worse lighting.
So. In sum - she was taken away from her mother in young age, had to learn living in a pride by herself and get used to the fact, that everyone were observing her in each her step.

It's just me, but I'd love to see a twisted side of her, like she'll be happy to know her father and half brother dead. And maybe, when Simba will return, she would fight him to earn her place on Pride Rock and win.

I guess he would, but what if she insists into fighting and forces him to engage a battle, or even will put on a facade of truce, to back stab him later? And about Zira, she would be jealous(?) of the attention Scar gives to his niece?

Probably after battle she'll put herself into the shadow. She'll be broken after realisation that she was just a pawn in Scar's paws. What is more, she'll have to take care of Roho (her daughter).
Both her and Kusaini would love to be on Scar's side as Pridelands' queen. Unfortunately for them both, Scar doesn't even think about sharing the throne.

That was obvious, maybe she could turn against him? I mean, if your only friend who "helped" you to avenge your misery then shows up for his true colors and doesn't give a damn about you, if I was her, I would murder him straight away. But if she's a mother, I suppose she has something worthier to live for.

A ja się zastanawiam, o co chodzi. Ta lwica to jakiś owoc wpadki Mufasy czy co?

Zgadza się, to postać z mojego konta związanego z KLem. Kusaini to córka Mufasy i lwicy spoza stada. Jest kilka miesięcy starsza od Simby. W wielkim skrócie, Ahadi zmusił Mufasę do odebrania młodej matce i wychowania jej w stadzie, jako że nosi w sobie królewską krew. Ta nie może się do nikogo zwracać tak jak wypadałoby w rodzinie, "tato" i tak dalej, jedynie po imionach. Jak w opisie grafiki wspomniałam, Mufasa niewiele robi sobie z pierworodnej córki. Jego uwaga należy wyłącznie dla Simby.
Jest wyrzutkiem, podobnie jak Skaza. Nic dziwnego, że przez to jakoś się dogadują.
