Likewise, for every functional piece of male armor, there is an equally disfunctional piece of the same armor for a woman. lol Why is it female characters always get a metal bikini when they get armor and the guys get fully covered?

There's more than one reason for that. 1. It appeals to the male gamer scene. 2.Females aren't as strong as males(in a traditional sense), and therefore rely on agility and flexibility instead. The armor allows that.
