I'll buy reason one, but reason two is bullcrap if you ask me. Leather armor or chainmail is the more appropriate armor then if that's true. In games, though, everyone is balanced to dish out the same amount of damage regardless of gender.

take Samus for example. about the only character i know that can make power armor hot. XD

in MZM, she takes twice as much damage, hence, i like her in her suit better... that, and they made her look too damn cartoony in MZM. >_< how she was at the end of Hunters SHOULD be the standard for her.

The thing about Zero Mission is they went back to the comic book style of art. I liked it, personally. It was the same feel of Super Metroid but a bit more updated and perhaps a bit more cartoony as well. I've yet to complete Hunters, so no spoilers please.

The reason you don't get to see his face was the game was designed to allow players to invision themselves as master chief and that effect would be lost if you were to see his face. So just look in the mirror.
