Description
Slight trigger warning for a character with claustrophobia and mention of parental abuse (sort of).

"What are you doing?!" She exclaimed as she desperately tried to open the door.

"I'm sorry, but I can't let you go out for now." She heard his voice behind the wood.

He had blocked it, but that didn't stop her from trying. "Let me out!"

Shirou leaned against the furniture barricade behind him. "Calm down and listen. Now I believe that you are human, but I don't want the city to panic. I need you to stay there until I know how to solve-"

A heavy impact hit him from behind. Shirou sighed and, with no effort, added his desk to the pile.

"A move?" A voice asked.

"Mayor Rose," He decided to put the tanuki aside "It's not important."

The noises behind the door stopped.

"In that case, I need you to support the police. They need to track the location of bombs around the city, several places are compromised, including the Sylvasta pharmaceutical headquarters."

"Do they have any idea of who-

A blow caused the mountain of furniture to give way a little.

Shirou didn't react to it, but the mayor observed the improvised barricade somewhat puzzled. "Is there someone in there?"

"It's a construction in the building next door." He smiled nonchalantly. "Like I said, it's not important."

But the sound of desperate scratchings made his smile fade.

"Ogami!"

Within seconds, the furniture was pushed aside and the girl fell to the floor. Shirou looked inside the door, claw marks all over the surface with slight stains on the wood.

He supposed it was blood.

When the mayor tried to approach her, the young girl stood up before being touched. Her eyes, wet with tears, were accompanied by an angry expression.

"Michiru Kagemori, I suppose."

Before the tanuki caught her breath, Shirou asked. "Did you know about her?"

"It's my duty to know what happens in Anima city, and I can't ignore a beastman who claims to have been human."

"I'm not a beastman!" Michiru wiped the tears with her hands, leaving slight red stains under her eyes. "I'm human."

"Of course, and if I may, I apologize for Ogami's behavior in locking you up. I assure you he didn't do it with malicious intent."

Shirou could feel the hard look towards him, but he decided that it was best to remain silent.

"On one condition." The girl was quick to say. "Let me help with the investigation."

"Impossible." Shirou crossed his arms. "Even if you don't like it, you must avoid that other beastman-"

"I think it's a good idea." The mayor smiled as she handed her a cell phone along with a handkerchief from her pocket. "If you join Ogami, you can make sure that no one discovers your secret."

Shirou watched as Mayor Rose left, leaving the two of them alone in the room. His eyes returned to the young girl, who had wiped her face with the handkerchief and seemed distracted by the new phone.

He saw her hands. "You need bandages?"

Michiru didn't answer, she took her jacket, covered herself with the hood and hid her hands in her pockets. Shirou could imagine the kind of look she was giving him, but unlike the day before, it felt like he deserved it.

The tanuki turned her back on him and walked through the door leaving him behind.

What is Reverse AU?

I did this with a manga style, and I love how it came out.

I got this in my head for a few days and I needed to let it out. When I first saw that scene, besides thinking what a jerk Shirou was being, I tought "what if Michiru had claustrophobia?" I mean, he just shove that girl in there without warning.

So yeah, in this reverse au, I imagined that, when she first transformed, Michiru went to her parents trying to look for help. Their solution? They told her to hide in a closet before anyone see her. They did it beacuse of fear and Michiru stayed there. But as days passed, she had the worst kinds of toughts. Her parents didn't know what to do, could she be cured?, if she never could be a human again, people would hunt her, try to kill her.

That close space became a place of her worst nightmares. And one night, without her parents knowing, she ran off. She didn't leave a note, because the only thing in her mind was to scape her first cage. After that, days trying to avoid humans and finding a way to reach Animacity.
