This reminds me of a story in Enid Blyton where a man who drew faces. By adding lines over the faces, he could make it look old.

Old people have bigger noses and ears because the nose and ears continue to keep growing as people ages. Just a tip, because baldness and long beard are too common of an aging tactic.
