It's so funny to draw dreadlocks! :'DFeel free to use them for your studies! but this is just a little preview..

Because I cannot believe I hadn't found you or these wonderful dreadlock references earlier or even hair references before!
Ahh, do you have a reference set featuring the "Ferrah" hairstyle? Or maybe something similar to what Roman women had their hair styled (I guess it's kinda like dreads but... curly and with "body", like somewhat hollow inside the loop of the hair?) Ahh, it's tricky to explain~ But thanks either way!
Or maybe, if you do braids, do you have one in a set that's kind of small but long and essentially on the front of the face?

I go through the same thing but it helps when I buy African American photo magazines and hair style books to find reference and then I have my lovely co workers and ask them what kind of braids they have-noted there are all kinds even in dreads-I know a two year old boy usually mistaken for a girl whom has pony tail like dreads! LOVE it! And I love to have my hair that way *.*

Ever since I saw Izumi Curtis in FMA & Brotherhood series I was convinced that dreadlocks were the symbol of a totally badass character.
And to this day I have yet to find a manga or anime character that rivals her appearance.
ALL HAIL IZUMI!!! MASTER OF DREADLOCKS & THE MOST FEARSOME HOUSE WIFE IN THE UNIVERSE!!!!

I disagree, a lot of my co workers whom are African American have the most amazing dreads and I only wish I knew how to get my own hair that way. I have a two year old in my glass with dreads, that are partly braided and in pony tails! Amazing though he gets mistaken for a girl, just means he's gorgeous!! *.*
