By the by, I personally think that one of the main reasons Loki went evil is because he was forced to hang out with Thor and his friends who clearly didn't like him much! Maybe if he got some friends that WEREN'T members of the Thor fan club, things would have gone smoother!

When I saw the thumbnail the background looked like lockers and I thought this was a high school AU or something with Thor defending his brother in front of the popular kids he'd been hanging out with. XD

This is why the Asgardians really piss me off sometimes. They live for thousands of years, they've known each other since their childhoods, they've done everything together. And when one of them has a crisis of self and goes insane for a few years, they instantly label him as evil and toss him to the wind. I'm not going to pretend Loki is some misunderstood innocent; while he isn't inherently evil, he still knew what he was doing was wrong and did it anyway. But everyone turning their backs on him (whether in fact or just in his head) didn't help the situation.

I think the big issue is Loki never had any friends of his own. Lady Sif and the Warriors 3? They're technically Thor's friend, and when things get rough they usually see him as just their best friend's kid brother and side with Thor against him. Loki needs a clique of his own.
