Oh my God, I should not be laughing at this but I can't stop!
My dad's kinda the same way (though he's not an art teacher or anything), but whenever he sees me draw he goes immediately "too cartoony, be more realistic" or "you drew that wrong" or my personal favorite "you could've done that better."
Now that I think about it, my drafting teacher was the same, but he was real subtle about it. If you had a few lines not dark enough or too short/long he would up dock to 50 points or more on the piece. There was not a single kid in that class that got a 100% on those drafting projects.

I don't know your pain. My teachers are nice when my drawings are looking like shit. They say there is stuff I need to redo, but being nice. XD Not sure if it makes sense. Anyway. I get the feeling you want to slap him sometimes.

Haha! I think a lot of teachers are like that! My teacher from High School did work on the Batman movie posters. He would always say to add more realism... Because apparently manga/anime style wasn't art enough for him. XD

If someone did good, he hit them on their back.
One time, she sharpened my pencil with a knife, and to show me how sharp a REAL pencil should be, he stabbed my finger with it! D:
