The teachers that have the most faith in your abilities will be the hardest on you. ^^ It's great that you have a ruthless teacher that pushes you over the edge of the insanity cliff, but has the best intentions of knowing the pool of success is at the bottom.

Ahahahaha, sorry but this is funny! I had a art teacher a little like yours. She would sneak up on me from behind when I painted and then she would stare at the pic for long and for instance say "I think you should put some blue in it. Here and here." *pointing* "Do that". And then she would leave and I put the blue in the pic (that I had worked with for 3 days already). Theeeen she returned, stared at the pic, at the blue color and said "... you know... sometime its better to just start it all over." XDDDDDD Im laughing at it now but it wasnt fun back then.
