A small satire on my daily office life; roles played by a bunch of -inspired drow ladies.

"Well, let's take a break and go out for lunch now."

The long-haired drow looked back to the short-haired drow woman behind the desk:

"Aren't you coming with us?"

An almost monotone voice chirped back:

"I've gotta... finish up this here store visualization first. Don't worry, I've got some sandwiches with me."

The office boss, who was wearing her new luxurious red leather suit, smiled to her colleague:

"Excellent! Then you're in charge of the office, while we're out! You should take a break as well, dear!"

The short-haired drow simply nodded:

"Uh-huh..."

As the short-haired drow girl continued to click away at the keyboard, the drow woman in her shiny leather coat whispered in a bit worried voice to her superior:

"Boy, she sure works too much, and never goes out to dinner with us. I wonder, whether she's feeling okay."

The other drow lady just calmed her colleague:

"Don't worry - I bet she's just trying to appear as a great worker, that's all."

"But isn't she, really? We should really consider giving her a raise, already - it's been 3 years since she joined our team, and she still gets the bare minimum wage..."

The boss drow scratched her head:

"M-yeah... I guess I should think up of something for her."

"That's what you always say!"

The worried drow was silenced by her superior, who lifted her finger in air:

"I said I'll take care of it. Now, come on; our dinner must be getting cold in the restaurant!"

The two drows left the building, and the short-haired drow girl was again all alone in the office. She took out a single sandwich out of the brown paper bag and nibbled on it, while trying to adjust the perspective of the design she had created so that it fit the store's photo accurately.
