hmm, that is what i felt at the begining, then it grew on me
especially knowing it is the same voice from the movie, wasnt it lovely?
It kind of gives her a more mature feel.
Am gonna miss her old voice, but i love this one too.

I don't know it's just me or not.I guess, over time Namco really privileging Xiaoyu. she's special I guess ^^ like she's got a lot costume in T5,she's got a lot interaction with another character especially with someone beyond our expectation,the only one who can get Jin's attention,she's everywhere and she's different from other tekken girls. I love her so much

yep! xiao has a good story potential
but nobody really saw it until TBV 
she also has one of the most unique fighting styles in tekken
i think Jin keeps telling her to stay away because of his devil gene, he doesn't want her to get hurt :3

but Xiao is always looking for a peaceful way to solve thing :3 and she doesn't give up hehe

well, characters getting haters is a never ending story.
funnily enough, some ppl hate her for the same reasons we like her
so, i never ask ppl to not hate her, hate her all you want! but be sensible about it.
i dislike a lot of characters, but i don't go around bashing them everywhere, or make "bad" fanarts of them.
yeah, Xiao-san is always hopeful for the better :3

you're already get used to it? how long you need to get used to her new voice? I still can't accept it.at first,it was fine but after several times I hear it,it makes me dislike it more than ever.it makes her more childish and she just like someone else,compare to her old voice that sounds more energic than this one and gives us spirit when we played her 
I hope I can accept it,maaya's not really bad too. maybe there's some reason why they change yumi.but I'm still hoping.. AARRRGGGHHH

i dunno, after hearing a clear sample of her voice. by the time i got Tekken Hybrid and played TTT2 prologue, it felt fitting ^_^
especially when she is talking.
also, thinking it is the same voice from the movie helps
in SFxT, i dunno if it is Yumi in-game, i know in teh trailer and prologue it was Yumi, but in-game, it is waaaay too squeaky XD nothing like she did in Tekken.
but i guess that is CAPCOM for you, they exaggerate everything!
one more thing, this might sound silly, but for me, for most of the part, Xiao isn't all about how she is portrayed in the game anymore
i have a constant image of her in my mind. so the sub-changes they do to her don't affect me much.
it was very easy for me to relate to the movie, cuz the way she was portrayed in it was exactly the same image in my mind.
it was an integration of her T3 and T4 self. not the sudden change she got in T5.
hmm, i think you'll get used to it after you play TTT2 for a while

-get used to it.
-deal with it and move on
heh well by "constant image" i didn't mean only her looks XD also personality, behavior... etc.
i take what i like from her in each game, and add it up to the image in my mind.
one thing i really liked in her in T5, was the skate board item. so for me, xiao, apart from being a skilled martial artist, she is also an X-gamer
